Client Support Accountant – 12 Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

You will be at the intersection of property management and finance, delivering accurate and transparent accounting for service charges across a varied UK portfolio. Working closely with Property Managers, clients and auditors, you will own end‑to‑end accounting cycles and ensure year‑end processes run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and finalise service charge accounts, including accruals, pre‑payments and journal entries.
• Complete bank, control and service‑charge reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Manage year‑end packs, working papers, audit liaison and sign‑offs.
• Monitor AR/AP ledgers, investigate variances and support cash‑flow management.
• Partner with Property Managers on budgets, forecasts and client reporting.
• Respond to client and leaseholder queries with clear, timely information.

Required profile

• Detail‑driven and highly organised, able to own full accounting cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, translating complex finance into plain English.
• Strong commitment to accuracy, meeting deadlines and delivering first‑time‑right work.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working with property teams, auditors and suppliers.
