Clients Payroll Administrator – Temporary Hybrid Role

About the role

Our client, a well‑established chartered accountant practice in Sidcup, Kent, is seeking an experienced Clients Payroll Administrator on an 8‑12 week temporary contract. The role is hybrid, with two days in the office and three days remote, and offers the chance to manage a portfolio of over 500 client payrolls.

Key responsibilities

• Process client payrolls from start to finish for a diverse portfolio.
• Calculate deductions, including over‑payments, maternity, sickness, tax and National Insurance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with UK PAYE legislation.
• Provide high‑quality customer service and build effective relationships with multiple clients.
• Report to the Payroll Manager and collaborate with the wider payroll team.

Required profile

• Previous experience processing client payrolls within an accountancy practice.
• Strong understanding of UK PAYE legislation and payroll deductions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Availability at short notice and local to Sidcup or surrounding area.
