Clinical Advisor – 999 Emergency Services

About the role
This temporary, long‑term position is based in either the Medway or Crawley contact centres, supporting an Ambulance Service in the South East. You will work flexible shifts, providing clinical advice for both NHS 111 and 999 contracts.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver clinical advice to callers on 111 and 999 services.
- Assess urgent, emergency and unscheduled care situations.
- Maintain accurate records and follow clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with the wider urgent‑care team to ensure safe patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration (Adult Nurses only).
- Minimum two years post‑registration experience in urgent, emergency or unscheduled care.
- At least 12 months experience working within NHS 111.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
