Clinical Deputy Manager

About the role

The Brendoncare Foundation is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for its Stildon care home in East Grinstead. This full‑time, 35‑hour week position offers an exciting chance to lead clinical practice, support nursing staff, and ensure high‑quality care for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans for residents.
• Provide day‑to‑day clinical oversight and deputise for the Home Manager when required.
• Recruit, mentor and develop nursing staff through reflective practice and personal development plans.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to uphold and enhance nursing standards across the home.
• Collect and analyse clinical data to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration.
• Minimum two years post‑graduate nursing experience.
• At least 12 months in a senior role within a care‑home setting.
• Knowledge of CQC assessment frameworks and experience with frailty, long‑term conditions, end‑of‑life, and dementia care.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
