Clinical Deputy Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) to join a specialist dementia care home in Southport as a Clinical Deputy Manager. This full‑time position supports the Home Manager in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care for older adults living with dementia.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Home Manager with daily operational and clinical oversight.
• Lead, mentor and develop nursing and care staff to maintain excellent standards of care.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and professional standards.
• Focus on clinical excellence through supernumerary leadership hours.

Required profile

• Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
• Minimum two years’ experience working in nursing homes.
• Previous clinical leadership experience; deputy manager experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to person‑centred dementia care.
