Clinical Laboratory Analyst – London

About the role

Randox Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Analyst to join its St Pauls, London site. You will perform rapid point‑of‑care clinical and molecular tests on blood and other specimens, supporting both Randox Health and external clinics.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical testing using manual and automated methods.
• Operate and maintain analytical systems such as Rx Daytona Plus, Rx Imola and Siemens Immulite XPi.
• Prepare, handle, and transport samples while ensuring chain‑of‑custody compliance.
• Record analytical data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and maintain accurate logs.
• Perform daily quality‑control checks and calibrations of equipment.
• Monitor laboratory and equipment temperature and document readings.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to diagnostic testing equipment.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in the UK for at least 12 months; no visa sponsorship available.
• Vaccinated against Hepatitis B or willing to be vaccinated after interview.
• Willingness to work a 4‑on/4‑off shift pattern covering 8 am‑8 pm and 8 pm‑8 am.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Experience operating Rx Daytona Plus, Rx Imola and Siemens Immulite XPi platforms.
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and calibration procedures.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting on clinical diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of quality‑control protocols and chain‑of‑custody standards.
• Sample preparation and temperature monitoring skills.
