Clinical Lead - Nursing Home

About the role

Lynwood Care Centre, a purpose-built nursing home run by Gold Care Homes, is looking for a Clinical Lead. The home offers 24-hour care and support for older adults in small houses, giving a personal approach to care. The post is based in Ascot.

Key responsibilities

• Carry responsibility for managing the unit during the day
• Develop and manage the skills of the care team
• Promote and maintain a high standard of nursing care
• Ensure effective induction of all staff, clinical supervision of trained staff, mentorship and assessment of student nurses, and induction of new care staff
• Work within the NMC code of professional conduct and CQC standards, as well as internal policies and procedures
• Plan, direct and deliver high-quality person-centred care
• Undertake staff reviews and team meetings, and monitor the quality of care offered
• Evaluate employee performance, monitoring nurses closely so they fulfil their duties and provide the best care
