Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Bristol

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our claimant‑focused clinical negligence team in Bristol. You will manage your own caseload of high‑value obstetric and neonatal claims, working closely with a Partner to deliver expert legal representation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a portfolio of claimant clinical negligence claims, primarily obstetric and neonatal injuries such as hypoxic birth injury, cord prolapse, multiple‑birth complications, meningitis and Group B Strep infections.
• Collaborate with senior partners on complex, high‑value cases and contribute to case strategy.
• Maintain client communication, provide clear updates and ensure diligent case progress.
• Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings and evidence for litigation.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 3–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience handling higher‑value or complex clinical negligence claims.
• Excellent client care and communication abilities.
