Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds/Remote

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our established team in Leeds, with the flexibility to work remotely. You will handle a varied caseload of high‑value clinical negligence claims, supporting senior lawyers and managing your own matters from instruction through to resolution or trial.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of clinical negligence matters.
• Support senior lawyers on complex cases and assist with case strategy.
• Draft legal documents such as letters of claim, instructions and court pleadings.
• Prepare cases for settlement or litigation and liaise with external experts.
• Engage with clients, providing clear and empathetic advice.
• Maintain accurate time‑recording and file management.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with up to 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience handling a clinical negligence caseload.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Commercial awareness within a legal environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
