Clinical Pharmacist – Independent Prescriber (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber status to join our London team on a hybrid basis. You will spend three days on‑site and two days working remotely, providing safe and personalised cannabis‑based medicine (CBPM) prescribing and review for patients with complex conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Clinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy.
• Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs.
• Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options.
• Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards.
• Support the dispensary team with complex clinical queries.
• Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

Required profile

• GPhC‑registered pharmacist with an Independent Prescriber qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of prescribing experience in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to undergo specialised training in cannabis‑based medicines if not already experienced.
• Clear communicator across clinical and non‑clinical settings.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage complex workflows.
