Clinical Research Associate – South West England

About the role
IQVIA is expanding its sponsor‑dedicated team in the UK and is looking for an experienced Clinical Research Associate to support studies across South West England. You will be the primary link between the study sites and the project team, ensuring trials run smoothly and comply with all regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform site monitoring visits (selection, initiation, monitoring and close‑out) in line with GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Collaborate with sites to develop and track subject recruitment plans.
- Deliver protocol and study‑specific training to site staff and maintain regular communication.
- Assess site practices for quality and regulatory compliance, escalating issues when needed.
- Track study progress, including regulatory submissions, enrolment, CRF completion and data query resolution.
- Ensure all required site documents are filed correctly in the Trial Master File and Investigator Site File.
- Prepare monitoring reports, follow‑up letters and other study documentation.
- Work closely with internal study team members to support project execution.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of independent on‑site monitoring experience on interventional studies.
- Experience across study start‑up, enrolment, maintenance and close‑out phases.
- Degree in a scientific discipline, healthcare background, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research regulations and ability to apply GCP and ICH guidelines.
- Digital literacy with confidence using AI tools in a professional setting.
