About the role
We are recruiting a full‑time (37.5 hours) Clinical Team Administrator / Receptionist to join the North Durham Early Intervention in Psychosis Team based at Chester Le Street Health Centre. The role is permanent and requires the right to work in the UK. You will be the first point of contact for service users, providing a welcoming and professional reception service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet service users on arrival and manage visitor flow.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, take accurate messages and handle enquiries.
- Maintain and update patient records using electronic systems.
- Process post, deliveries and ordering of office supplies.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications for routine administrative tasks.
Required profile
- BTEC Level 2 qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with willingness to work towards a Level 3 Business and Administration qualification.
- Functional literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2 (GCSE grade 4‑9 in Maths and English).
- Experience of data entry, general office duties and customer service.
