Clinical Trial Administrator (Temporary Full-time)

About the role
We are looking for an organised and proactive Clinical Trial Administrator to support a busy clinical research programme at the University of Oxford. The role starts immediately, is full‑time and initially lasts for 12 weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for trial enquiries by phone and email.
- Prepare, collate and distribute trial documentation and recruitment packs to participating hospitals.
- Coordinate follow‑up notifications and maintain communication with collaborating sites.
- Support training activities by organising paperwork, travel, venues and meetings.
- Arrange trial meetings, draft agendas and take minutes where required.
- Manage office supplies, stationery and incoming post.
- Coordinate collection of study data and monitor outstanding returns.
- Liaise with research teams at partner hospitals to ensure timely submission of study information.
- Prepare newsletters and other trial communications.
Required profile
- Previous administrative experience in an office environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Confidence using the telephone and building effective working relationships.
- Attention to detail and a proactive, flexible approach.

- General IT proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £14.98 plus holiday pay.
- Full‑time temporary contract for an initial 12‑week period.
