Cloud DevOps Engineer

About the role

Accenture is seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join its Birmingham team. You will design, implement and manage automation solutions across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring reliable and repeatable delivery of software services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform and related tooling.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git and Ansible for automated build, test and deployment.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and support configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, including secret management and privilege controls.
• Collaborate with IT Service Management teams using ServiceNow for incident, change and problem processes.
• Create operational dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Azure and AWS cloud services (compute, networking, storage, security).
• Associate‑level cloud certification (Azure or AWS) or equivalent.
• Proven ability to design and deliver continuous delivery solutions in hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of ITSM practices and tooling.
