Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing SaaS business to find a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who will manage and evolve a hybrid environment that spans AWS cloud services and on‑premise systems. The role is hands‑on and focuses on performance, security, cost optimisation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support hybrid infrastructure across AWS and on‑premise environments.
• Optimise systems for performance, scalability, security and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance DevOps practices and automation.
• Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot incidents and ensure high availability.
• Maintain clear documentation and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Strong experience designing, building and operating AWS infrastructure.
• Proven hands‑on work with Docker containers, particularly Amazon ECS.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Nagios.
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server (IIS), Linux, SQL Server and networking concepts (switching, load balancing, firewalls).
