Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology team. You will design, implement and maintain a hybrid cloud and on‑premises estate, ensuring services are efficient, reliable, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise public cloud infrastructure for scalability, availability and security.
• Implement monitoring, conduct performance analysis and automate improvements.
• Maintain high availability and data integrity through proactive alerting, backups and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Lead major incident response, root‑cause analysis and long‑term fixes.
• Enforce security best practices, vulnerability management and compliance monitoring.
• Develop and maintain IaC scripts and configuration policies.
• Provide 3rd‑line support and act as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party providers to deliver high‑quality infrastructure services.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service mindset with clear professional communication.
• Minimum three years of experience in a cloud/infrastructure role.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID and Group Policy.
• Proven administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, IIS and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with firewall technologies and cyber‑security best practices.
