Club General Manager – 5-a-side Football Centre

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Club General Manager to lead our client’s 5‑a‑side football complex in Glasgow. This hands‑on position gives you full control over sales, operations and team development, ensuring the venue runs at maximum capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue by achieving financial KPIs such as league bookings, standard games, children’s parties, bar takings and overall utilisation.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, including staffing, scheduling and facility maintenance.
• Develop and train a diverse team ranging from reception staff to referees.
• Build relationships with customers, team captains, local schools and football coaches to grow repeat business.
• Implement marketing initiatives and attract corporate leagues.

Required profile

• Proven experience meeting financial targets in a leisure or multi‑function environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent organisational and people‑management abilities.
• Background in managing venues such as bars, restaurants, gyms, sports clubs or similar.
