Club Lounge Supervisor

About the role

The Club Lounge Supervisor leads the day‑to‑day operations of the Treehouse lounge at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere when the Assistant Manager or Manager are absent. This on‑site position ensures the highest standards of service, food quality, safety and guest satisfaction within a luxury 5‑star environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the visible leader on shift, allocating duties and overseeing the team.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation to Fairmont standards.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders and ensure smooth service flow.
• Deliver food and beverage orders accurately, uphold consistency and quality.
• Handle guest issues or complaints promptly and report actions to management.
• Identify upselling opportunities and support revenue generation.
• Take responsibility for all payments and financial transactions during the shift.
• Lead pre‑shift briefings in the absence of senior management.

Required profile

• Proven supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury or high‑volume hospitality setting.
• Minimum one year in a similar role with a track record of delivering results.
• Qualification in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage preferred.
• Additional Food & Beverage certifications are an advantage.
• Strong guest‑focused attitude and ability to work flexibly across tasks.
