Cluster Facilities Manager

About the role

The Cluster Facilities Manager will oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of all physical assets across multiple retirement village sites. You will ensure buildings, grounds, equipment and systems meet safety, comfort and quality standards for owners and residents. The role includes leading a dedicated maintenance and grounds team and coordinating with other departments to support overall village operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, hire, train and manage a maintenance and grounds team across three sites.
• Develop and enforce maintenance policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular inspections, prioritize repairs and oversee preventative maintenance programmes.
• Manage budgets, control costs and negotiate contracts with contractors and suppliers.
• Respond to emergencies, address owner concerns promptly and maintain accurate maintenance records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably within senior living or hospitality.
• Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification and strong leadership abilities.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
