CNC Kit Cutter – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

As a CNC Kit Cutter at Unipart, you will support our automotive manufacturing operations by preparing precise composite kits using Zund machinery. You will work closely with the supply chain team to ensure kits are ready on schedule, contributing to high‑quality, efficient and sustainable production.

Key responsibilities

• Supply and control cut kits for laminating according to the work schedule.
• Manage stock control and storage of composite materials.
• Maintain adherence to all quality standards.
• Digitise templates to produce accurate kits.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with material buyers to ensure clear stock visibility for all parties.

Required profile

• Experience in composite kit cutting or a similar role.
• Ability to work independently, set goals and monitor progress.
• Competent use of the Microsoft Office suite.

Required skills

• Operating Zund cutting machines.
• Operating Blackman and White kit‑cutting machines.
• Draft sight experience (desirable).
• Handling of composite materials and knowledge of their lifecycle.
