CNC Machinist – 5 Axis Specialist (Milton Keynes)

About the role

Join a rapidly expanding global manufacturer as a senior CNC Machinist in a brand‑new factory in Milton Keynes. You will work autonomously on a tight‑knit workshop team, overseeing project workloads and contributing to the production of precision components for automotive and aerospace sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program a range of 5‑axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Produce specialist components for automation projects and related applications.
• Train and mentor junior operatives, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and efficiency in a 40‑hour work week, with occasional overtime.

Required profile

• Experienced CNC Machinist or similar role, comfortable with both mills and lathes.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Willingness to train junior team members and support continuous improvement.
