CNC Machinist – Night Shift (Turner)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with turning expertise to join a well‑established manufacturer on a permanent night‑shift basis. You will work Monday‑Thursday from 18:00 to 06:00, setting up, operating and programming CNC equipment to produce medium‑heavy components for a range of subcontract machining projects.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CNC turning and vertical boring machines.
• Interpret customer drawings and specifications to produce accurate workpieces.
• Work to tight tolerances on medium‑heavy components.
• Maintain machine performance and report any issues.
• Participate in overtime and training sessions to enhance skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with turning duties.
• Familiarity with Fanuc control systems.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Willingness to work night shifts (18:00‑06:00).
