CNC Miller – 4‑Day Week, Shift Allowance & Programming Training

About the role

Join a well‑established metal components manufacturer as a CNC Miller (setter & operator) on a 4‑day week schedule. You will work on multi‑axis Heidenheim and Fanuc milling machines, with the opportunity to receive programming training.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up and operate 3‑, 4‑ and 5‑axis Heidenheim and Fanuc CNC mills.
• Perform quality checks, troubleshoot issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Follow a rotating 2‑week shift pattern (7:00‑15:30 then 14:30‑00:30) with a 21% shift allowance for late‑night shifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience setting and operating Heidenheim or Fanuc CNC milling equipment.
• Comfortable with 3‑, 4‑ and 5‑axis machining.
• Willingness to commute to the workshop in Shildon/Middleborough area.
