CNC Miller – Late Shift (4 on 4 off)

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join the production team on a late shift (4 on 4 off) at their Hemel Hempstead facility. You will be responsible for setting up, operating and monitoring CNC milling machines to produce high‑precision components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling machines, including tooling, fixtures and material preparation.
• Operate machines on the 6 PM – 4 AM shift, ensuring accuracy and repeatability.
• Monitor machining processes and make real‑time adjustments.
• Perform in‑process quality checks and log data on tooling sheets.
• Interpret engineering drawings to verify first‑off inspections meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

• Good general education with basic computer and numerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and steady hand‑eye coordination.
