CNC Miller – Precision Engineering (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join a well‑established precision engineering company in Chippenham, Wiltshire. The role is permanent, full‑time and offers a balanced working week with a half‑day finish on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC milling machines, including 3‑ to 5‑axis equipment.
• Manufacture high‑precision components from supplied CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Maintain tight tolerances and adhere to quality standards throughout production.
• Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections and record tooling data.
• Provide feedback to Production Engineering to optimise programmes and machining methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
