CNC Miller / Turner Setter – Operator

About the role
Our client, a precision‑engineering specialist in the Bristol area, is seeking experienced CNC machinists to operate both milling and turning equipment. The role involves setting up, programming and running CNC machines on a double‑day shift pattern that rotates weekly between early and late shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Set up CNC milling and turning machines according to technical drawings.
- Operate machines safely, monitoring performance and making adjustments as required.
- Maintain control of all machine axes and ensure accurate production output.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Record production data and report any issues to the supervisory team.
Required profile
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Proven experience in CNC milling and turning environments.
- Ability to work both early and late shifts on a rotating schedule.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
