CNC Miller/Turner – Double Shift, Luton

About the role

This permanent position is for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a century‑old manufacturing company in Luton. You will work double‑day shifts, enjoy early finishes on Fridays and have plenty of overtime, training and progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Set, program and operate CNC milling and turning machines.
• Manufacture and modify tooling such as jigs, fixtures and moulds.
• Work a 37‑hour week on double‑day shifts (Monday‑Thursday 6:00‑14:15 & 14:15‑22:30, Friday 6:00‑12:00 & 12:00‑18:00).
• Maintain high quality standards using precision measuring equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Strong CNC programming ability.
• Competence with micrometres and Vernier calipers.
• Apprentice‑trained or time‑served background.
• Willingness to work double‑day shifts.
