CNC Operator – Night Shift (19:00-07:00)

About the role
We are seeking a CNC Operator to join our night‑shift team on the outskirts of Edinburgh. The role runs Monday‑Thursday from 19:00 to 07:00, totalling 46 hours per week, and involves operating a range of CNC machines to produce high‑quality parts from diverse materials.
Key responsibilities
- Set‑up and operate CNC equipment to meet precision tolerances.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and translate them into efficient machining programmes.
- Produce high‑volume, high‑precision components consistently.
- Assist in training and developing less‑experienced team members.
Required profile
- Proven experience manufacturing high‑precision parts using various materials.
- Background in CNC machining within a high‑volume production environment (advantageous).
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings.
- Experience mentoring junior staff is beneficial.
