CNC Production Supervisor – Precision Engineering

About the role

Join a leading precision‑engineering manufacturer as a CNC Production Supervisor. You will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a busy machine shop while staying hands‑on with Citizen and Star sliding‑head CNC lathes, delivering high‑quality prototype and batch components.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop activities, production schedules and staff performance.
• Set up, program and operate Citizen or Star sliding‑head CNC lathes.
• Produce precision components in stainless steel, aluminium and brass.
• Ensure delivery deadlines are met and ISO 9001 quality standards are maintained.
• Drive continuous improvement and support overtime and early‑finish Friday arrangements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Production Manager, senior CNC setter or programmer.
• Hands‑on expertise with sliding‑head CNC lathes (Citizen or Star).
• Background in precision‑engineering manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
