CNC Programmer – Defence & Nuclear Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join a well‑established engineering firm that produces high‑precision components for the defence, nuclear and marine sectors. You will work with advanced CNC equipment in a supportive environment that values training and career progression.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC turning, milling and grinding machines.
• Manufacture precision components for nuclear, defence, marine and oil industries.
• Maintain high manufacturing standards and adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet delivery schedules.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship‑trained or at least 1 year of CNC machining experience.
• Ability to work Monday‑Thursday 07:30‑17:00 and Friday 07:30‑12:30.
• Willingness to undertake overtime when required.
