CNC Programmer – Full‑time, Ashford

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well‑established manufacturing business in Ashford. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑5:30 pm, with overtime available and own transport essential due to the site location.

Key responsibilities

• Program CNC machinery to meet production schedules and business requirements.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to achieve daily production targets.
• Support machine‑setting activities as required.
• Ensure all finished work complies with company quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and policies.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the manufacturing department.

Required profile

• Previous CNC programming experience (essential).
• Experience with CNC systems and touch‑screen machine interfaces.
• Good computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Flexible, hands‑on approach with willingness to support machine setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of health and safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
