CNC Sales Support Engineer

About the role

The CNC Sales Support Engineer will act as the bridge between the sales and engineering teams, ensuring that customer product requirements and tooling activities are fully supported. This in‑house position is based near Camberley, Surrey, and focuses on delivering complete solutions for CNC precision engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to sales and engineering for customer product delivery.
• Plan and coordinate CNC machining operations, ensuring efficient use of materials.
• Utilise ERP/MRP systems to manage production control and documentation.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation using CAD and Microsoft Office tools.
• Collaborate with the engineering/programming department and external suppliers to source tools, jigs, and fixtures.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of production engineering with a focus on CNC machining.
• Proven experience in CNC machining operations.
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP production control systems.
• Ability to use CAD software and Microsoft Office for reporting.
• Knowledge of material properties to optimise machining processes.

What we offer

• Salary range £30,000 – £35,000 per year plus benefits.
• Full‑time contract (40 hours per week) – Mon‑Thu 08:00‑17:00 (30 min lunch), Fri 08:00‑14:00.
