CNC Service Engineer – OEM Market Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Service Engineer to join a leading OEM in precision engineering. You will cover the South East of England, providing installation, repair and maintenance for a range of high‑performance machine tools.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to client sites across the South East for routine servicing, breakdown repairs and new installations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on multi‑axis CNC machines and bespoke control systems.
• Perform commissioning, calibration and testing of newly installed equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to share feedback and improve service processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service or Maintenance Engineer working with CNC machine tools.
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake a 3‑month induction on the company’s proprietary controls.
