CNC Setter / Operator

About the role

Join a fast‑growing aerospace manufacturer with a strong order book, working on advanced precision‑engineering programmes. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce high‑quality components for critical aerospace applications.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components.
• Inspect finished parts against engineering drawings using measurement equipment.
• Support routine machine maintenance and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain quality and production standards throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CNC lathe setting and operation.
• Multi‑axis machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Competence with inspection and measurement tools.
• Experience editing Fanuc programmes.
