CNC Turner – 4‑day week, £36‑40k + overtime

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join an established aerospace manufacturer in Bournemouth. The position works a 4‑day week (Monday‑Thursday) on evening shifts, offering a clear pathway to supervisory roles within 16 months.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set‑up and operate CNC turning machines to produce high‑precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings and select appropriate tooling.
• Carry out machine set‑ups and adjustments to meet production targets.
• Perform quality inspections using calibrated measuring equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Willingness to work evening shifts (4:00 pm‑2:00 am) on a four‑day schedule.
• Motivation to develop skills and progress to a managerial position.
