CNC Turner – Days Role with Early Friday Finish

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a long‑established, family‑run engineering business in Brighouse. The position is days‑based, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays and the opportunity to work on low‑volume, high‑precision bespoke components for the wire, rope and tube industry.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate Fanuc‑controlled CNC lathes to machine tool steel and hardened steels.
• Interpret customer drawings and produce components in batches of 10‑20 units.
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure precision tolerances are met.
• Participate in optional overtime on weekdays and Saturdays.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner, operator or setter.
• Ability to work from technical drawings without extensive CAD/CAM support.
• Commitment to quality and safety in a precision engineering environment.
• Willingness to develop further skills, including programming and CAD/CAM.
