CNC Turner – Precision Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a rapidly expanding aerospace precision engineering subcontractor. You will work on high‑value components, translating engineering drawings into accurate CNC lathe programmes and delivering parts to exacting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce components from engineering drawings.
• Program CNC lathes online or offline using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
• Perform quality inspections on finished parts and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and carry out corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Fanuc CNC control proficiency.
• Mazatrol CNC control proficiency.
• CNC lathe operation.
• CNC programming from technical drawings.
