CNC Turner – Precision Engineering (Warminster)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a close‑knit team of about 15 specialists at a well‑established precision engineering company in Warminster. You will program, set up and operate Fanuc‑controlled CNC lathes to produce high‑precision components for a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC lathes, including twin‑spindle and Y‑axis machines.
• Create new CNC programmes from customer drawings using online and offline methods.
• Select tooling, fixtures and machining strategies to meet production schedules.
• Make offsets and minor programme adjustments to optimise cycle times.
• Manufacture and modify jigs and fixtures as required.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Machine a variety of metals to tight tolerances and inspect components throughout production.
• Adhere to AS9100 quality procedures and maintain a safe, organised workspace.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in CNC machining.
• Proven ability to programme, set and operate CNC lathes.
• Experience with Fanuc controls (highly desirable).
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an engineering team.
