CNC Turner – Precision Machining for Aerospace & Marine

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a well‑established engineering business in New Milton, Hampshire. You will work on precision components for the aerospace and marine sectors, using both CNC and manual machining techniques in a quality‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC turning machines.
• Operate manual lathes and milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
• Carry out in‑process inspections and quality checks.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Work to AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Collaborate with the wider engineering team to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CNC turning and manual machining.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently.
• Experience producing components to tight tolerances.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 or similar quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
