CNC Turner – Precision Machining Position

About the role

We are looking for skilled CNC Turners to join our growing team in Nelson. You will work within a supportive, close‑knit environment for a well‑established CNC engineering company serving sectors such as aerospace, energy generation, automotive and other high‑precision engineering fields.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and related CNC machines.
• Produce high‑quality precision components according to engineering drawings.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.

Required profile

• Ability to set and operate CNC machines independently.
• Time‑served experience (apprenticeship or equivalent).
• Experience with Fanuc controls is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and team‑oriented attitude.
