Coded Welder (TIG/MIG) – Temporary – Eastleigh

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Coded Welder with expertise in both TIG and MIG processes to join our manufacturing team in Eastleigh. The role involves welding and fabricating car bodies and sub‑assemblies on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG coded welding in line with WPS and SOP documentation.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑weld inspections, ensuring weld quality and correcting any defects.
• Prepare weld surfaces, manage consumables, and complete all required weld records.
• Support team development by delivering training and deputising for the Team Leader when needed.
• Participate in Kaizen and 5S initiatives to minimise waste and improve processes.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment procedures, including proper extraction and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Valid MIG or TIG coded welding qualification.
• Previous experience welding aluminium.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make decisive decisions.
• High accuracy, excellent dexterity and good eyesight.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
• Strong interpersonal skills for delivering training.
