Collection & Delivery Driver (7.5t) – Full‑time

About the role

Join Parcelforce Worldwide in Cambridge as a Collection & Delivery Driver operating a 7.5‑tonne vehicle. You will be responsible for moving parcels safely between depots, homes and businesses while providing a friendly, reliable service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort parcels and plan efficient delivery routes.
• Carry out essential vehicle safety checks before each shift.
• Collect parcels from the depot and deliver them to customers.
• Handle parcels up to 30 kg and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (Category C1 up to 7.5 tonnes) with no more than 6 points.
• DCQC accreditation.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30 kg.
• Friendly, dependable, customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

• Starting salary £25,201 per year (£12.71 hour) rising to £27,561 after six months and up to £30,000 with overtime.
