Collections Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking motivated Collections Account Managers to join our friendly team in Truro. You will work with new commercial clients, contacting customers who have fallen into arrears and negotiating repayment plans over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers with overdue accounts and arrange payment collections.
• Negotiate repayment schedules while maintaining professionalism.
• Maintain accurate records of communications and agreements.
• Meet daily and weekly collection targets.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve disputes.

Required profile

• Strong telephone manner and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in customer service, sales, finance, or related fields is desirable but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive environment.

Required skills

• Effective verbal communication.
• Basic numeracy for handling payment details.
