Commercial Account Executive – Insurance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our professional team at the Newbury office. You will work closely with clients to understand their business operations, risk profile and insurance needs, delivering tailored commercial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve new‑business and renewal targets across a portfolio of commercial clients.
• Generate and manage leads, develop introducer relationships and cross‑sell to other departments.
• Maintain high‑quality client service, conducting fact‑finding visits and updating client documentation.
• Prepare broking notes, agree strategy with support teams and negotiate with underwriters.
• Produce closing instructions and ensure smooth hand‑over to processing teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking and presenting complex solutions.
• Strong relationship‑management and client‑service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet targets and expand a client portfolio.
