Commercial Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking a self‑motivated Commercial Account Executive to manage an existing book of corporate and commercial insurance clients and drive new business growth. The role offers hybrid working, a stable long‑term platform and the chance to work with a respected insurance provider.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop an existing portfolio of mid‑corporate and commercial insurance clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client marketing and lead development.
• Coordinate support teams to deliver growth and meet sales targets.
• Mentor and manage new‑business pipelines, ensuring effective sales processes.
• Build strong relationships with a broad mix of corporate and commercial clients and manage cross‑selling opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal business procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate/commercial insurance sales.
• Strong technical knowledge of mid‑corporate/commercial insurance risks.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Team‑player with a positive, approachable attitude.

Required skills

• Mid‑Corporate/Commercial Insurance risk expertise.
• Insurance industry qualifications (CII Certificate, Diploma CII or ACII).
• Regulatory compliance knowledge.
