Commercial Account Handler – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a fast‑growing independent insurance brokerage. You will manage a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, deliver first‑class service and support the Director in day‑to‑day account management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
• Handle policy renewals, mid‑term adjustments and negotiate terms with insurers.
• Provide expert advice across commercial property, liability, motor fleet, engineering and technology risk products.
• Support the Director with administrative and strategic account tasks.
• Build and sustain long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial insurance broking.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of commercial insurance products.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and service accounts.
• Professional, self‑motivated and organised approach.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of workload.

Required skills

• Acturis insurance broking system (experience advantageous).
