Commercial Account Handler

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a growing insurance firm for a Commercial Account Handler. You will act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, delivering expert advice and ensuring their insurance needs are met with high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Executives to produce accurate quotes, policy adjustments and renewals.
• Maintain client records and financial transactions promptly and accurately.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships, offering tailored advice to retain and grow business.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and close gaps in existing cover.
• Work with insurers to secure competitive terms and ensure smooth policy placement.
• Handle mid‑term changes efficiently and provide claims support when required.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, client‑focused attitude.
• Proven experience as an Account Handler handling commercial lines such as Commercial Combined, Motor and Professional Indemnity.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
• Solid understanding of the insurance market and policy structures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Acturis insurance software.
