Commercial Analyst

About the role

Axon Moore Group Ltd is seeking a Commercial Analyst to join a well‑established organisation in Lancaster. You will work within a collaborative finance team, turning data into insight that drives strategic decisions across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and maintain KPI dashboards and management reports, analysing commercial, operational and financial performance.
• Extract, manipulate and validate data from multiple systems, ensuring reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost‑margin analysis, providing analytical input for business improvement projects.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships, challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Commercial Analyst, Finance Analyst, Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present findings clearly to senior management.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/LOOKUP, complex formulas).
