Commercial Broker – Hybrid – Up to £40,000

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Broker to join our family‑owned brokerage in Glasgow. Working on a hybrid schedule, you will support a strong commercial client base, handling new business, renewals and day‑to‑day servicing while enjoying the flexibility of a modern workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for commercial clients.
• Manage renewals and provide ongoing account servicing.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients and underwriters.
• Deliver tailored insurance advice and maintain high service standards at every touchpoint.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the firm’s targets and objectives as an integral team member.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial broking or account handling.
• Strong grasp of core insurance principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable in client‑facing situations.
• Commercially aware with solid negotiation abilities and the capacity to multitask.
• Passionate about delivering quality advice and building lasting relationships.
