Commercial Catering Service Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Catering Service Engineer to deliver service and maintenance for a wide range of catering equipment across London, Essex and surrounding areas. You will join a reputable contractor that works with high‑profile venues such as stadiums, hotels, offices and restaurants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency service on gas and electrical catering equipment, including combi ovens, grills, burners, fryers and dishwashers.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and computer records for each job.
• Travel to client sites across east London, central London, Essex and occasional locations in Suffolk.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients in various sectors.

Required profile

• Valid COMCAT gas certification.
• Proven electrical experience with commercial equipment.
• Residence in north London, east London or Essex (or willingness to commute).
• Strong computer and documentation skills.
